Isabella Bretz é uma cantautora brasileira que usa seu tempo para costurar as coisas que ama. Com muitas influências estrangeiras, suas músicas passeiam por territórios do folk/indie e são temperadas com sua brasilidade. Seu primeiro álbum, Saudade (2012), toca diferentes situações, sentimentos, ideias e lugares, expressando assim a inconstância do ser humano. Lançou em 2017 seu segundo trabalho, Canções Para Abreviar Distâncias: uma viagem pela língua portuguesa, com 8 poemas musicados, cada um de um país da lusofonia, todos de escritores vivos. Isabella produz e apresenta o programa de rádio Bella Hora, abordando um assunto diferente a cada semana. É uma das produtoras do Sonora – Festival Internacional de Compositoras, sendo parte da coordenação geral e a responsável pelas edições em Lisboa. Além disso, se envolve em projetos artísticos variados, tendo especial apreço pelo audiovisual, como o Pequenezas. Em 2019, lançou com Rodrigo Lana o livro “Conhecimentos de Áudio Para Cantores”, apresentando esse universo técnico com linguagem simples e acessível. É graduada em Relações Internacionais e atua na área através de projetos culturais.

Isabella Bretz is a brazilian singer-songwriter that uses her time to sew the things she loves. With many foreign influences, her songs walk through folk/indie territories and are seasoned with her brazilianness. Her first album, Saudade (2012), talks about different situations, feelings, ideas and places, expressing thus the fickleness of human beings. In 2017, she released Songs to Shorten Distances: a journey through the Portuguese Language, with 8 poems turned into songs, each one from a portuguese-speaking country, all by living writers. Isabella produces and hosts the radio show Bella Hora, talking about a different subject each week. She is one of the producers of Sonora – International Festival of Women Composers and Songwriters, being part of the general coordination and responsible for the editions in Lisbon. In addition, she gets involved in a variety of artistic projects, with particular appreciation for the audiovisual sector, like Smallities. In 2019, Isabella and Rodrigo Lana released the book “Audio Knowledge for Singers”, presenting this technical universe using a light and accessible language. She is graduated in International Relations and works with it through cultural projects.
